First day June 10th, 2012

Kali, Jessica and I left June 10th to meet and visit with my new nephew, Josiah.
We got off to a late start so only made it to Avoca, Wisconsin. Population 608.
There we stayed at Motel 8, which was next to a nice restaurant.
We met a big group of truck drivers who were very friendly and were hauling the big wind turbines. They told us that each turbine cost up to 3.5 million dollars.
Sorry these photo's aren't in order.  Most are taken in Wisconsin.

In front of our motel in Avoca, Wisconsin.

One of the blades of a turbine, we couldn't even get the whole thing in the photo.

 Heading out, toward Iowa.

A beautiful carousel along the way.

Goofing off in motel in Iowa.

Outside our patio door was a beautiful little river and the swans were enjoying themselves.

First wind turbines in Wisconsin.
Kali tuckered out.
Jessica chillin..
